Get Rid of Hair Loss

Tuesday, July 29th, 2008

There are armies of lab-coated, Ivy League graduates working tirelessly in secret underground labs to solve the problem as we speak. No, I’m not talking about global warming. These scientists are working on how to stop hair loss, which, though untold millions would celebrate the day a cure is found, isn’t even classified as a disease. One doesn’t lose strength, youth, or virility with hereditary hair loss. What is lost is a person’s sense of well being and self-confidence. Get Rid of Calluses

Thursday, December 6th, 2007

This might seem like a familiar topic to some of you; we did how to get rid of corns a while ago, but I wanted to talk about how to get rid of calluses today because I learned something very interesting about calluses while doing my research. Did you know that bleeding calluses, especially in your feet, can lead to an early diagnosis of Diabetes? This is true. Diabetes is a blood disease. Sometimes it impairs people’s circulation in their feet and other extremities. As diabetes progresses, unused capillaries lose their strength and bleed out into the surrounding tissue–including calluses!

Don’t worry. Just because your calluses are cracking and bleeding doesn’t mean you’ve got diabetes. But, people with Diabetes need to be particularly careful about controlling calluses and making sure they don’t form because cracked calluses can get infected. Infections for people with diabetes are bad. I’ve listed several safe ways to remove calluses without using acids or harsh medications.

Most of the time, calluses need no treatment since they’re a function of your body’s natural defenses.

So I know I’ve been a bit incommunicado lately, but I’ve been busy not having a job and learning how to work from home without spending eight hours a day watching british televison. Okay, okay, I’ve been busy learning how to work from home and spend eight hours a day watching british televison. No really, I’ve actually been doing research for this latest article: How to Get Rid of Body Hair. Jonathan was my test subject (the cat was too squirmy) and man does he look funny now; what’s left of his hair just sticks straight off of him in little tufts. But he looks damn good in that new bikini I bought him — and that’s why we get rid of body hair in the first place, right?
