I probably should have done an article about how to get rid of a car before we sold Natasha’s car, because we took quite a beating on the price we eventually settled on. Poor Natasha out there in the cold, being haggled down by a very large man. I would have gone to help, but it was too much fun watching her “take care of business.” I think we ended up a couple thousand dollars short on that deal, but I learned a thing or two when we were trading in my old Honda for the new Subaru (since hit by a bear and an elderly woman). Don’t let salespeople push you around. Stand firm on that “fair” blue book value and don’t let up until they put the contract for your new car on the table.
