It isn't a "stain" ; it is sort of an anti-stain stain. Any application that you can use bleech on, you can use hydrogen peroxide. It will do the same brightening and cleanup. It is so benign that you can use it as a mouth wash in a 50/50 mixture with water. It kills the germs that cause plaque. It does everything that bleech does.
