Get Rid of Headaches
For those of you who suffer from headaches, I’ve just submitted an article about how to get rid of headaches. Please, feel free to submit your favorite headache remedies to help those of us like Natasha who suffer from mind-blowing pain from time to time.

I disagree that western medicine is lacking in treatment for migraine. I’ve suffered from migraine headaches for 20 years and have found great relief from triptan type prescription medications. Until I had been prescribed the first triptan Immitrex in 1995, nothing had helped with my migraine pain. Since then I have also tried 2 others - Maxalt and Amerge - both work just as wonderfully.

You have a good point. Western medicine isn’t lacking in treatments, there are plenty of them out there, but there are a lot of sufferers out there whose migraines cannot be explained or treated by western medicine–yet. I say “yet” because I have no lack of faith in humanity’s ability to solve problems, but it’s taking a long time and for people like Natasha, every minute with a migraine is like an eternity.
There are also problems with doctors misdiagnosing other illnesses as simply “migraines.” There are a plethora of illnesses out there that caused migraine-like symptoms. So finding a doctor who knows their s**t is also key to solving the mystery of recurrent headaches.
