Get Rid of HPV

One out of every two sexually active people will contract HPV – the human papillomavirus – in their lifetime. Of course, there are around 100 strains of the virus, and each behaves differently. Yes, there are the obvious cases where genital warts of all flavors emerge (no such thing as penis acne), but most infections are more subtle. In fact, most people who contract HPV will exhibit no symptoms and their bodies will fight the virus into a deep state of dormancy. Then there are potentially deadly strains. HPV 16 and 18 alone are responsible for 70% of all cases of cervical cancer – and a slue of other strains account for nearly all the rest. These HPV strains can also cause other forms of genital cancer, including cancer of the vagina, vulva, penis, and anus. On a lighter note, you can get rid of HPV – or at least its symptoms. Because HPV is  a virus, it replicates in your DNA and could reemerge if your immune system were to be severely weakened; however,  you can help your body get rid of HPV by eating certain foods and avoiding certain behaviors.
