Get Rid of Rodents
Getting rid of rodents is the new topic of a series I’m working on in the pest control section. So far we have getting rid of mice, getting rid of rats, and getting rid of gophers. I’d of added rabbits if they weren’t a lagomorph instead of a rodent. Isn’t that close enough? Apparently not. In the near future you should see articles dedicated to getting rid of squirrels, getting rid of chipmunks, and getting rid of groundhogs. This should round out the topic of rodents pretty well. In general, rodent control strategies are fairly similar, with variance depending upon the size of the population and the size of the rodent. Watch this space for more articles about how to get rid of rodents.
Don’t worry, I realize how to get rid of rats is woefully underdeveloped; we plan on addressing that in the near future.

I am having problems with the voles. They dig the tunnels, which are just below the mulch, or the landscape lumber. In the winter time, after a deep snow, they will create a maze of subways beneath the hard crust of snow, eating the grass. When the snow melts a few weeks later, the tunnels are exposed, now I have a bunch of trails that are about 1 inch wide and one inch deep, sort of like a half round slide at water parks…. these rodents really pissed me off. They will dig under my plants & eat the roots,I have so many plants that they killed. I lost a whole hill side of spreading yews, they stripped the barks in the winter time, when the snow covered the hill, spring time came I have half of the evergreen eaten. I tried mouse traps with peanut butter, bait for gophers (with zinc oxide?) and they still managed to be around. Any suggestions? I would really appreciated your help.
