Get Rid of Water Weight

For the last few weeks, I’ve been on a mission to lose weight and reveal the Greek God that lies dormant underneath my flab.  I’ve been eating less and exercising vigorously for at least an hour each day, and to my chagrin, the scale says I’ve gained five pounds. At first I was a bit perplexed, but then I remembered that water weight gain goes hand in hand with the lifestyle changes I have made. To get the scale moving in the other direction, I have to get rid of water weight. Exercise isn’t the only path to water weight gain. Women experience it every month and during pregnancy. A diet lacking essential vitamins and nutrients can also lead to an excess of water weight. Water weight can also be attributed to medication, hypertension, and a slew of lifestyle choices. Luckily, there are many practical ways to get rid of water weight -  for example, drinking plenty of fluids can help stave off the liquid rolls. This may seem contradictory, but for many, staying well hydrated is the only treatment necessary.
