i live in a apt and while im gone to work my dog stays in the patio area and after a couple days it smells bad back there and now i have upstairs tentis and i dont want them to have to smell it so how can i get ride of the smell and keep the dog there too

I have two cats and have tried everything. I recently found an amazing new product called Room Shocker. It not only took the urine smell out but it also helped with my husband’s allergies. It seems that it completely purifies the air and eliminates any severe bad odors right at the source. I ordered it online from a website called BiocideSystems.com. The best part was I didn’t have to scrub anything. Very low maintenance just leave it in a room for a few hours, come back and the smell is gone!

The issue off elimination stains and odors has been done to death. In this case, it was obvious, pick up the crap, rinse the pee-pee then housebreak the dog.
Monica, you are one big supporter of a product that seems to "work" for you and thank you for sharing, but being new to this forum, you probably did not notice that I am a big supporter of 'Kids and Pets', as well as just plain isopropyl alcohol. No no getagrip, no drinky--make you get big pains and need lots of, well go to #4 "migraine headaches surgery selfcure".
I spilled grape kool aide (plus evertyhing else I pickup, but save that for a rainy day--in about 6 months from now). As usual, I left it for someone else to clean up. I happen to live alone--SOOO, it stayed on the off white carpet for several months--YEP, the 'Kid' part of 'Kids and Pets' got it clean with no wicking up!!!!
Blah blah blah you said it all in one sentance.. Pick up the poop, rinse and housebreak the dog. Hey if you had a kid you'd have to do the same thing. Take some responsibility for the dependants you have around you. Life isn't all ooooeeeguuee it stinks sometimes.As an "adult" you have to fix it.
I feel anyone who is going to get a "pet" should do just that. Anyone who wants to leave another living being tied, caged* or whatever AND left lonely, most likely out of water and more than a few missed meals, laying in dirt and bugs, cold or hot, SHOULD JUST GET A STATUE TO SET OUT IN THE YARD! Mushers have dogyards with 8 to a hundred or more dogs. They are chained with a 3-4 foot chain--to their own insulated doghouses. The owners or crews feed, water, clean, brush, love on these dogs, as well as run them year round. (yes exceptions, but monitored & other mushers will step in...) If they can do it with multiple dogs, a PET owner should able to treat their PET with humanity.
*not referring to crate/cage training, which is done indoors,is effective and if done right--HUMANE.
I have two dogs that lay on our couch all day and the couch started to stink so i found a website called ridodor.com. This product has saved our couch, you spray it on and eats up the odor for good.
jc1273 do have more info? You say the odor stays away for ever; does this require keeping your dogs off the couch? Does it require bathing your dogs? Like many people who have pets that are 'family', my pets are not very familiar with this unique surface called FLOOR. One dog, Keenan, actually jumped from sofa to loveseat to chair before she would step on the FLOOR. But, I keep my animals bathed regularly, so they do not smell 'doggy', that keeps my furniture from picking up foul odors from them.
First of all I realize this forum was started ages ago, so the original asker is probably not even going to read it but however.
If you have a dog the smell the poop and the pee come with that. If you dont want that then dont get a dog or any living creature for that matter because they all poop. I googled how to get rid of the poop smell in my yard not because I dont regularly do poop patrol as in twice a day but because my lovely trio of dogs have all but destroyed the grass in my side yard where they poop so its on the dirt and you can smell it even after I pick it up. Which of course made sense but I still wanted to get rid of the smell. So I read this and to my horror I read that she he keeps the dog outside all the time in an apt sized patio. Without walks I bet if it stinks that bad. i have a 3/4 acre lot and I do pick up the poop. I know how it smells these days.

Monica I hope there is more to your life than remedies pee pee and poo poo sales pitches to people who are not buying. C'mon!
causintrouble is right. If it is a big patio with all the fixins grat. If not people get rid of that poor dog. I recently moved because my roomate kept a dog like this and there was a designated poo zone. Dogs are not to be left alone all day with a stinky patio. Try feeding the dogs a nice poo scent enhancer!
