I hope there is not already a topic on this and I missed it. If so I am sorry .
I have a mole problem. Can not flood them out with the hose because of yard is mostly sand. Just soaks it up.
Tried the pellets Moletox II which is zinc phosphide. Does nothing. They would not eat this stuff.
Tried the Tomcat worms which is Bromethalin. does nothing they would not even eat them.
Tried to use a mouse glue trap to stick them in place. Well it may work but the problem is when you dig a area up large enough to put in the glue trap the mole covers up the end of his hole . If you could cover it back in , say by placing a tube over the trap so the mole did not know his hole had been opened up it might work.
Now the part that seems to be working. I tried Juicy Fruit Gum. Yep. I poked a hole in his tunnel with my finger and dropped in a stick of gum. I did this to three mole tunnels. The moles ate the gum up . I checked the holes about 6 hours after I inserted the gum. Gone !
Do not know yet if it killed them. the theory is that the gum can not be digested so it will kill them by clogging up their digestive tract. This can happen to even you so it should work.
I will keep you informed of the progress.
