   I hope you can help,I live in South Australia, my next door neighbor feeds pigeons and as a result it is not unusual to have hundreds of birds in my backyard. I have spoken with them about it but my neighbors are an old couple in their 80's and as they are Ukrainian, language and communication is obviously a problem. Unfortunately not only do they soil my clothes on the clothes line but they are continuously drinking from my dogs water dish as I am a bit concerned about health problems ? I have a companion dog as I have a form of Multiple Sclerosis. I have spoken with the local council and they have visited and sent a letter to my neighbors
   (in Ukrainian) but the problem still exists. I have spoken to them about the problem and are concerned about my dogs health.
   I do not want to start WW3 over something that seems so trivial but I am not what else can I do ?
   Any suggestions ????

   Hey jth,

   Let me get in touch with some people who might have an answer to your problem. Aside from what's been detailed in the how to get rid of pigeons article (and maybe some of the tips in how to get rid of birds), I don't know what else to tell you right now. But, I'll do my best to get you an answer ASAP.

   Good God John, Your an Aussie! You're a loyal British Subject! You don't ever give up a good fight! My Mother is all British. This is how you deal with this.Since you are a good citizen you contact..www.rescuecenters.com/cats or www.cat-world.com au/australiananimalshelters.html and have them send you 100 cats to care for. Can you imagine the looks on thier faces when the truck (lorry) pulls up and 100 cats come out??!! Also you will have all the ol ladies giving you breakfast lunch and tea. Any complaints just sic the ol ladies on them. And you will get paid for it!! Win-win..Oh the pidgeons won't be there very long..this I guarantee.

   You know what? That's actually a good idea. I vote for the cat army (or at least two good mousers). Make sure they're female cats. Apparently female cats make better mousers.

   I suppose in this instance you would call them birders?

   I have a dog that lunges after birds. We used to have all these pretty blue jays and robins in my yard before we got him...but not anymore xD
   Get anything that will pretty much harass the hell out of the birds.

   Yo dude they have these awesome frickin dogs called "bird Dogs" yeah and they can chase birds and stuff and like they are really cool.

   I'd laugh, but that was mean. Maybe instead of trying to get rid of all those birds one by one you could just poison your neighbors and then the birds will go away when there's no more food?
