   How do I get rid of rabbits that have burrowed under my patio? I am worried they are creating a cavity that will cause patio to crack with the extreme weather changes we have. Do I need to back fill as best as possible after they are gone. I have tried putting up little fence and they just go under it. I have backfilled and they redig. Any suggestions to rid the rabbits and prevent further digging would be welcomed. Thanks.

   I would say re-fence the area with chicken wire or something similar, but this time bury the wire no less than two feet below the surface. It's a lot of digging for you, but in the end you won't have to deal with rabbits under your porch if you bury the wire far enough. Rabbits have their limits.

   With regard to backfilling, I'm not in construction, so I don't know what to tell you.
