   A wise man once said "Where there's shelter, there's s!@t," and that is absolutely the truth when it comes to my balcony. I recently came face-to-face with a raccoon --the same one who's droppings greet me every morning-- on a quiet night while reading on my balcony. My scream send him scurrying, but he keeps coming back. I've read about wolf or coyote urine as a way to get rid of it, but I don't want to spray my balcony with pee! Can someone suggest a better way to keep this critter away!

   If you have a balcony I assume you live in a condo or apartment. The chances are good that he's living in the attic of your building and on his way in or out he stops to poop. I would set a have-a-hart(live)trap(raccoon size)with a can of cat food or an apple cut in half.Or if your management company has a pest control company have them do it and check the attic.
