Our house outside would be covered in spider webs if we did not sweep them down, but to have them up again the next day......what is a good solution

If you look in the immediate area of the web you will find the spider lurking in a crack or crevice (door frame siding etc) Find it and treat it an insecticicde or it will remake those webs overnight. Or you can just leave them up so you don't have to decorate the house for Halloween!
I would say, leave the spiders alone. Sure, they're not pretty, but they're doing a really good job of keeping your home free of pests that are potentially more destructive. But, if you must, get a spray bottle. Fill it with soapy water and simply spray the crevices where the spiders are hiding. That should take care of it.
If soap doesn't work, use a pesticide labeled for spiders.
I think they may be blocking doorways or getting on the car..bummer..this time of year they can be a problem.
Spiders can be very beneficial in keeping other bugs from getting into the house, but I understand you don't want to walk outside and find yourself face first into a spider web! Ugh! Yuck! Get yourself a spider spray (there are many on the market to chose from) and spray around window and door frames. That should help. If you don't want to do this yourself, consult an exterminator.
We have a HORRIBLE spider problem here where we live in Maine. I'm talking HUGE spiders of the EXTRA CREEPY variety!
We have had a lot of luck with a solution of eucalyptus oil and water in a spray bottle as spiders abhor eucalyptus. A word of caution, be very careful with this because eucalyptus can be fatal to household pets.
I've been spraying where I don't want the spiders and leaving webs around the places that don't matter so much. As much as I hate spiders (and believe me, I HATE them) they do help keep other pests out of my garden and home.
Good luck.
I have learned through the years and hating spiders that taking white vinegar in a spray bottle and spraying areas where you see spiders they will not come back. Inside your home you can spray your walls up toward your ceiling where spiders are at night for some reason they just don't come back. Try it, an old Indian woman told me this many years ago and it has always worked for a ScaredStiff person like me lol ..Jean, In Pa.
I just don't understand how you can be afraid of one of nature's wonders..the spider.
They are marvolous creatures that weave all sorts of intricate webs ( each for a different species) and do nature's pest control. Why look..there's a little fella now coming down the wall, isn't she wonderful.and why..it's running straight at me..AAAHHHH
Where's the fly swatter!!?? Where's the cat!!?? Take that..BAM ..missed it WAP..you little son of a ..Squish..gotcha! Oh..never mind.
If they're in the house we discovered that using hedge apples helps immensely. They're about the size of grapefruits and up here we're able to find them at some of the grocery stores. Just toss them under the sink or other spots that aren't easily accessible by the smaller wanted beings roaming the house as they can make them sick. The best part about them in my opinion is I'm not spraying chemicals around as they are a fruit, non-edible, but amazing never-the-less.
I forgot, we do have spiders! But, we are not supposed to have Brown Recluse. I was bit twice--the first time I went to have my right leg set in a cast and a nurse familiar with the bite saw it on my left leg. The following summer, I saw the bugger, the bite and away to the uh, hospital I went. Sure enough, another Brown Recluse. Never heard of them before and now I am terrified of any spider except the ones I can readily id--Daddy Long Legs and, uh Daddy Long Legs, and Daddy Long Legs.
They are supposedly very deadly. And not supposed to live in this environment, either.
LOL..I guess the Brown Recluse didn't read the manual!?? The bite for most is not fatal unless you have a reaction to it. Same with the Black Widow.
Just keep your bag-o-snakes with you, don't want anymore snakes. Had enough of them back home. I would hate to have to check the out house for snakes before using it! Still waiting to hear if you are gonna send lady bugs and night crawlers.
