How do I get rid of tarantula wasps from my organic peach trees?
They are looking for spiders so you must remove the food source either by mechanical means ( a broom for webs) or chemical. Look up Pepis Formosa if that's your wasp it nests in the ground (holes like a pencil would make) usually and puts a spider in there then lays an egg on it. Sting is painful be careful move slow wear protective clothing if you want to do it yourself. Let us know what happens.
Organic peach trees...interesting. What counts as pesticide use from an organic farming perspective? Is there a list of stuff you can't use?
I think it generally means no pesticides ON the product, what about the tree absorbing pesticides from the ground systemically? Then they would be IN the product. Ouch!!
